Well on March 6th in the town of Pine Grove, a man looking for directions to West Point, walked up to a truck and asked the couple in the truck if they new where it was. That couple happened to know the man, it was a dear friend of theirs and the family and totally blew both parties away. Go figure in the parking lot of grocery store in this tiny mountain town close friends meet, its a small world isn't it.

Okay, so I've got one last picture. This is the approximate area Sam claims she saw a care bear. Could this be the next big foot? The next Nessie?

This message concludes our broadcast. I'd like to thank you all for putting up with my silly project and well see you all when we get back.
Aaaaah, mardi gras. Blargy bulgy blah.
Btw, we're in front of the Natchez steamboat, fastest steamboat on the river. Buuuuuh

Tonight's photo comes courtesy of Sam. A trip to the autobahn zoo plus a packed mardi gras parade schedule led to a very bad ass day. Photo dump tomorrow, on Facebook.

Bourbon st. Stylized.

Yup, that is a barrel full of new Orleans rum. Super yummy.

Livin' in the best of times

A winery, the abita beer brewery, the houma's house plantation, then a random stop for a cheese steak made first full day in Nola, amazing.

An update from uncle traveling matt (steve): Texas, what can I say, the lone star state. We saw a church that was so big, that on Sundays, they have cops controlling traffic. And in case you can't make it in time to get in, don't fret, the overflow church is across the street.

This is Steve and Sammy's first day of traveling and were exhausted! Tomorrow will be a full day in Texas.
